The past conjugates by person, not by the gender-number grid of the present. The masculine בָּאתָ and the feminine בָּאת differ only in the final vowel. Note that בָּא (he came) and בָּאָה (she came) are spelled exactly like the present.
בְּ contracts with אֵיזוֹ to give בְּאֵיזוֹ. In the past you need היה, which the present drops.
