The map of the country in Hebrew: the four directions, the neighbours on each border, the seas and the mountains. One verb carries the whole lesson — נִמְצָא, to be located — and it agrees with the grammar of its subject rather than with what the place is.La carte du pays en hébreu : les quatre points cardinaux, les voisins à chaque frontière, les mers et les montagnes. Un seul verbe porte toute la leçon, נִמְצָא, se trouver, et il s'accorde avec la grammaire de son sujet plutôt qu'avec ce que le lieu est.

Every line is built the same way: a verb, then בְּ and a moment. Read it once for the story and once for the pattern, because the exercise underneath asks מָתַי about each line.Chaque ligne est bâtie pareil : un verbe, puis בְּ et un moment. À lire une fois pour l'histoire et une fois pour le schéma, parce que l'exercice en dessous demande מָתַי sur chacune.

NotesNotesהֵא הַיְּדִיעָה — when the article goes on, and when it does notהֵא הַיְּדִיעָה — quand l'article se met, et quand il ne se met pas
The article goes on the noun and on its adjective; leave it off one and the sentence means 'the boy is beautiful'.L'article se met sur le nom et sur son adjectif ; ôté de l'un des deux, la phrase devient « l'enfant est beau ».הַיֶּלֶד הַיָּפֶה
